Thanks for releasing the alpha! I just ran diatheke, and got the
following output:

./bin/diatheke -b ESV -k jn 1
...
John 1:21: And they asked him, <q level="1" marker="“"
sID="43001021.1"/>What then? Are you Elijah?<q eID="43001021.1"
level="1" marker="”"/> He said, <q level="1" marker="“"
sID="43001021.3"/>I am not.<q eID="43001021.3" level="1" marker="”"/>
<q level="1" marker="“" sID="43001021.5"/>Are you the Prophet?<q
eID="43001021.5" level="1" marker="”"/> And he answered, <q level="1"
marker="“" sID="43001021.7"/>No.<q eID="43001021.7" level="1"
marker="”"/>

Sword 1.7.5 diatheke output:

diatheke -b ESV -k jn 1
...
John 1:21: And they asked him, What then? Are you Elijah? He said, I
am not. Are you the Prophet? And he answered, No.

Was that change intentional?

Lintian, the automated checking tool of Debian packages reports a few
misspellings in sources.

Please find attached a patch to fix this.

Best regards,

A patch I submitted in January has not been merged.

This patch adds mappings to the current French v11n schemes.

If these versification mappings are ok, and unless specs have changed,
I'd love to see these mappings included in the next Sword release.

Please, find attached the related patch.

As a further response to Troy's message....

There are 61 open issues for SWORD listed in
http://tracker.crosswire.org/projects/API/issues/API-119?filter=allopenissues

Which, if any, of these are being addressed by SWORD 1.7.900 ?

Best regards,

David
