Online Mizo Bible (as in Mizoram state in N E India)

David Haslam
Mizoram is a state in N E India with a largely Christian population, and a high level of literacy.
The Mizo Bible is online here http://bible.youthim.com/

See also Youth Internet Ministry.  You should see in the right hand of this page that they already have a Mizo Go Bible for mobile phones.

The first translation of the Bible into Mizo was completed in 1955. One of the translation team was the Rev John Meirion Lloyd (1913-1998), a Presbyterian missionary from North Wales. Obituary online at http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_19981012/ai_n14193451

There is information about Mizoram and the Mizo language at the following links:

I also found the following site for the Mizo Christian Global Network,

I should have added that Mizo language uses the Latin alphabet.

"Buh seng tur a tam hle si a, nimahsela, a thawktute an tlem; chutichuan, a buh seng tura thawktu turte tir turin buh Neitupa henah chuan ngen rawh u" (Mt. 9:37-38.)

i.e. Pray that the Lord will send Mizo Christians into his harvest, not only in other parts of India, but wherever He chooses throughout the world.
